A vocational training program or combined vocational training and degree program at Manz is everything but boring and repetitive. The following is an overview of all the things you can experience at Manz!
Hanging in the air? Not at Manz! With the introduction week we want to give you a pleasant start. That week will not only be training, workshops, company tours and games. A trainee rally under the direction of the trainees, who have already been working longer, will also be held. Here you have the chance to get to know each other better in different Manz-specific or playful tasks and to become a team.
To improve team spirit and feeling of unity, there are a number of different shared activities you can participate in at Manz.
Each summer, all the vocational trainees, DHBW students, and interns go on an excursion together such as climbing at a high ropes course or going on a canoe trip.
Once a year, a health day takes place to ensure that you get fit and healthy through your day-to-day work. Under the direction of an instructor, you address topics related to health, fitness, and sports. In addition, nutrition and addictions are also discussed. To ensure that the day is fun for all those involved, every now and then the entire group does practical exercises to keep the mood light. The goal of these exercises is to maintain body control in various situations. Whether a relay race with “drunk goggles,” relaxation exercises for a long workday, or a slackline course on Manz AG’s premises, the exercises are all fun and contribute to the group’s feeling of unity.
Also training during the training is important to us. Yout therefore receive additional specialist trainings, such as:
- Changes to Customs and Export Business
- CNC Programming
- Business English
Since we also value your personal development, we offer seminars around the topics of communication, rhetoric or economic thinking and acting. Even if it's the hot phase of your education, we will not leave you alone. For your optimal preparation you have the opportunity to participate in exam preparation courses offered by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
So that your parents also know what news there is in your training, we offer once a year for all a common parent's night. Your parents should get to know the training managers and the company and ask questions. As a special highlight, the trainees present the projects they worked on and the experience they gathered over the previous year such as on trips abroad.
