Benefits

A vocational training program or combined vocational training and degree program at Manz is everything but boring and repetitive. The following is an overview of all the things you can experience at Manz!

Benefits

introduction week

Hanging in the air? Not at Manz! With the introduction week we want to give you a pleasant start. There will be not only training, workshops, company tours and games during that week. A trainee rally will be held by the trainees who have been working at Manz for some time. Here you have the chance to get to know each other better in different Manz-specific or playful tasks and to become a team.

Excursion

In order to build a strong team spirit and a sense of togetherness, Manz offers a number of different shared activities.
Each summer, all the vocational trainees, DHBW students, and interns go on an excursion together such as climbing at a high ropes course or going on a canoe trip.

Health Day

Once a year, a health day takes place to ensure that you get fit and healthy through your day-to-day work. Under the supervisionof an instructor, you will deal with topics related to health, fitness, and sports. In addition, nutrition and addictions are also discussed. To ensure that the day is fun for all those involved, every now and then the entire group does practical exercises to keep the mood light. The goal of these exercises is to maintain body control in various situations. Whether it is a relay race with “drunk goggles,” relaxation exercises for a long workday, or a slackline course on Manz AG’s premises, the exercises are all fun and contribute to the group’s sense of togetherness.

Training Courses

Also professional development during the apprenticeship is important to us. You therefore receive additional specialist trainings, such as:

  • Changes to Customs and Export Business
  • Welding
  • CNC Programming
  • Business English

Since we also value your personal development, we offer seminars in the fields of communication, rhetoric or economic thinking and acting. Even if it's the hot phase of your education, we will not leave you alone. For your optimal preparation you have the opportunity to participate in exam preparation courses offered by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce.

Parents’ Night

To keep your parents up to date about your training, we offer once a year a parent's night. Your parents should get to know the training managers and the company as well as ask questions. As a special highlight, the trainees present the projects they worked on and the experience they gathered over the previous year such as during their trips abroad.
