Service Technician / Service Engineer (m/f/d)

Job description

We are looking for you as a Service Technician / Service Engineer (m/f/d) to support our service team in our After-Sales Service division. You represent our company and as a reliable partner for our customers you are the success factor for a cooperative, successful collaboration.

Your responsibilities

  • Processing of field service issues in the national and international environment
  • Collaboration in hotline, remote service and on-call support (24/7)
  • Supporting the Field Service technicians with more far-reaching problems
  • Project-related, technical coordination and management of the assigned service team (also employees of external service providers)
  • Carrying out briefings and training sessions in-house or at the customer's sites
  • Collaboration in the preparation of offers, in the creation of service-technical documents, and in reporting
  • Evaluation of quality issues and reporting of warranty expenses

Your profile

  • Completed professional training in mechatronics, electrical engineering or electronics, technician or a comparable qualification
  • Solid professional experience as a service technician, ideally in the field of special equipment, experience in the automotive sector desirable
  • Several years of experience in commissioning or maintenance of automation and robot systems
  • Experience in use of ERP and CRM systems in service desirable
  • Profound knowledge in programming Beckhoff and Siemens controllers
  • Enthusiasm for continuous familiarization with new technologies and processes
  • Independent, self-reliant and structured way of working as well as a strong customer focus
  • Committed and team-oriented personality as well as high flexibility and reliability
  • Willingness to travel and business fluent English skills complete your profile
