DLC 820 – Display Laser Cutting

The DLC 820 is a universal, multi-axis laser cutting machine that modifies unstrengthened or chemically strengthened transparent glass substrates by ultrashort pulse lasers with high cutting speed, accuracy and high-quality cutting edges (~ 90 ° edge, no heat-affected zone, highest breaking strength, < 30 μm chippings, edge roughness ~ 0.4 μm). Laser marking or scribing are also possible.


The PCL controlled three-axis machine DLC 820 disposes of two laser sources and processes glass substrates of up to 1,300 mm x 1,100 mm.

  • Cost savings through high-quality cutting edges (no downstream processes such as grinding necessary)
